GGblue designer Patti Varrelmann describes herself as classic, sophisticated and fun.  Her clothing reflects that.  In January 2004, when she set out to launch the Northern-California based collection, she sought clothing for an active lifestyle in which she could play with her three children, golf, travel, and live freely. 

Named after the blue eyes of Patti’s daughter Georgia Grace, the line is inspired by femininity, positive energy and happiness.  What began as a collection for the female golfer has evolved into a full woman’s lifestyle brand, one with pieces that transition from day to night for today’s busy, energetic woman who is always on the go.  Patti, who enjoys golfing, wanted clothing that was not limited to her sport of choice, but would transcend activities and captures the elegance that all women desire. 

Patti created GGblue with more than golf in mind, but all of her favorite pastimes.  Her second love, next to her family, is her travel overseas.  She wanted clothes she could wear on trips to Mexico, Italy and France.  She imagined herself practicing her morning Pilates, spending an afternoon playing a round of golf with her husband and friends, followed by dinner at the resort.  GGblue offers pieces to be worn for all of these occasions.

The collections consist of versatile separates and basics, along with flirty dresses and accessories.  A variety of fabrics is used including Italian viscose and printed cottons.  The prints are all hand selected in Italy and personally perfected and customized for the GGblue shopper.
